Katie and Taylor's Wedding!

I figure I should finally get back into this blogging thing again because although I've been taking pictures like CRAZY lately, I've been slacking on the blogging aspect ;P That will be remedied, I promise.

Last month I shot the wedding of my childhood friend, Katie! She was an absolutely beautiful bride and her wedding day was so much fun :) It was such a pleasure to do this for her, since I have known her since I was about 10 years old, and seeing her all grown up and gorgeous made me so happy. Her new husband Taylor is also an amazing guy, and they are just perfect for each other in every way!

Blake Brady

So I've been really behind on blogging lately, and I promise that once the craziness of all the shoots and adventures I have been going on lately subsides, I will be posting more often. I'm shooting three weddings just during my break at home, I'm heading to Canada in a few days, and I have several family, roommate, and individual portrait sessions lined up in between all of that. It's a good thing I love what I do :)
Anyways, I thought I would kick off my new blog posts with a newborn session I shot a few weeks ago. I have known the parents of this baby, Brittney and Spencer, for the past couple of years, and I got so excited when I found out they were expecting their first baby! As soon as he was born, I offered to take some newborn shots of him, and I fell in love with him upon sight. His name is Blake, and he is the sweetest little boy ever! He's going to grow up to be quite the heart-breaker ;)

Tori & Trevor!

A few weeks ago, I had the chance to photograph my friend Tori's engagements. Tori, her fiancee Trevor and I traveled miles and miles into what seemed like the middle of nowhere to shoot them, and Tori's aunt was kind enough to allow us to use her property as a backdrop. It was such a fun place, with gorgeous views of the valley, stockyards, tractors, and a rusted, old-fashioned truck right on the property. We had such a great time shooting and I was incredibly pleased with the results, so I hope you will be too! Here are a few of my favorites:
